Origins of Music

Sunday, April 10th, 2011

The word “music” is translated from Greek as “the art of muses”. Music is known to be a kind of art. Every special art has its own “language” to deliver information to people: artistic art uses dyes, colours and beautiful lines; poetry and literature – words and rhymes; music – a harmony of sounds.

Every person gets absorbed by the world of music since an early childhood being influenced by it during an entire life time. For example, a toddler may start crying hearing sad music or start laughing hearing joyful one; a child may start hopping boisterously when hearing merry music.

Music has become an immensely important part of an everyday life, just like visiting Birmingham escorts for some men.  A person can hear music practically everywhere: on the radio, TV, Internet etc. It keeps listeners informed about every single individual in particular and about the human society on the whole. Music is a means to express the entire range of feelings and emotions and to figure out the features of a human character. Life produces music and the music affects life making it richer. Music has sufficient means to alter a person’s attitude to life; strengthen his (or her) will power; educate a number of positive qualities, such as kindness, generosity, nobility and others.

Music can become a source of energy. Listening to favourite music, a person can feel a bigger moral strength and a stronger wish to commence or continue a desired activity. Beautiful music decorates life; makes people kinder; develops positive spiritual qualities etc.
